The Sixth Glass Quadrupel Ale - 6/10

Full Sail “21″ - Anniversary Doppelbock - 6/10

Ale To The Chief (American Double / Imperial IPA) - 8/10  Hop Bomb!   It actually started to start numbing my tongue a bit.   Great stuff!

Beer

Since I drink a lot of beer (and I am an acknowledged beer snob), I’m going to start tracking what I drink here.   I’ll add links to Beer Advocate reviews and give my own simple 1-10 score. My first post will be what I’ve been drinking over the past few months (that I can remember) and then I’ll update regularly (probably weekends, since that’s when I make beer runs).  Hooray beer!

I guess these ads are from Europe, but there is still a huge WTF factor.

Including:

Hookers,

Veggie assassins,

Serial killers,

and finally Latex gloved strip searches (with bonus veggie pr0n).

Bonus coverage of the last ad here.

Hi!   It’s been a while.   Sorry.   :(

Anyway, I saw this video of cornstarch on a subwoofer, and had to share it.   It looks like something out of Dante’s Inferno.

“A moment I’ve been dreading. George (Vice President George H.W. Bush) brought his ne’er-do-well son around this morning and asked me to find the kid a job. Not the political one who lives in Florida (future Gov. Jeb Bush). The one who hangs around here all the time looking shiftless. This so-called kid is already almost 40 and has never had a real job. Maybe I’ll call Kinsley over at The New Republic and see if they’ll hire him as a contributing editor or something. That looks like easy work.”

– Ronald Reagan in his recently published diaries, May 17, 1986

Edit: I’ve been alerted that this is actually a case of satire. I guess the real shame is that our President is such that something like this would be taken at face value.

Coolest Ad Ever

November 10th, 2007

Well, maybe the coolest ad I have seen lately.  Everyone who knows me knows that I love Guinness. But this new Guinness ad would kick ass even if it were for Coors Light (ugh). Here is the link to the article, and just click the picture to start the advert.
